The Managing Director of Tactile Australia has a Degree in Civil Engineering, a Masters in Project Management and personally looks at all layouts and facets of the business.
The Assistant manager, Darrel Salter has 25 years of experience from engineering design through to construction.
Supervisors have undertaken specialist training by SAI Global (Standards Australia) regarding layout and placement of tactiles and regularly hold in house training and discussions with all staff regarding layouts in accordance with the Australian standard AS 1428.4 and the Building Code.
Staff have undertaken specialised training for our complete range of tactiles enabling them to have a greater understanding of suppliers products and installation methodologies.
Tactile Australia utilises an Integrated Management System through the Civil Contractors Federation and complies with all facets of training legislation and environmental responsibilities. Tactile Australia has an approved EBA and can provide unionised staff for projects where required. Installers have Red Cards for Victoria, Green Cards for New South Wales, level 2 first aid certificates and traffic management tickets.
